Why you should cheer for the Canadiens over the Bruins (from the New Yorker of all places).
I am the last person to go to—or, as the current idiom puts it, not your go-to guy—because I tend to see Habs-Bruins matchups as confrontations between the forces of absolute good and those of utter, well, evil. I regard the Habs as a band of warrior-elves, courageous and clever, and the Bruins as little better than orcs, occasionally admirable for the courage that lurks behind those misshapen faces, but deserving only of defeat.
